Establishing Technical Colleges in Newly Merged Area (FATA)

Empowering Youth Through Technical Education in Newly Merged Area (FATA)

The Newly Merged Area (FATA) have long suffered from a lack of educational and vocational training opportunities, resulting in limited employment prospects for its youth. To address this challenge, WCHR has taken the initiative to establish technical colleges for both males and females in each agency.

The Need for Technical College

The people of Newly Merged Area (FATA), historically reliant on agriculture and small-scale trades, have had limited access to higher education and professional training. Due to the lack of industries and economic infrastructure, many are forced to migrate to urban areas for work. Establishing technical colleges will equip the youth with skills in various trades, enabling them to secure sustainable livelihoods.

Key Objectives of the Initiative

Skill Development: Provide technical and vocational training to enhance employment opportunities.
Economic Growth: Foster self-reliance and economic empowerment by equipping students with job-ready skills.
Gender Inclusion: Ensure that both male and female students have equal access to quality education.
Community Development: Strengthen local industries by developing a skilled workforce.

Expected Outcomes

The establishment of technical colleges will significantly reduce unemployment rates, curb illegal activities, and contribute to the overall development of the region.
